マールの事 About Marl

３月５日

ゴハンを食べなくなり体温も下がったような気がする。それに腎臓病特有の口臭がするような気がして受診。体温36.3度、脱水有り。血液検査の結果BUNが高く腎不全が疑われ入院。
March 5
She stopped eating, and I have feeling her body temperature also dropped.
Since she also had breath that smelled like something associated kidney trouble.  
I had her get an exam. Her temperature was 36.3 degrees, and she was dehydrated.
Her BUN levels in her blood were high, and I suspect renal failure.

入院後、BUNの数値も改善しゴハンも食べるようになり、動く事もするようになってきました。

After she was admitted the hospital, her BUN levels reading improved, she started eating again, and she also started moving around.

３月８日

体重も増えゴハンも食べるようになったので一旦退院となりました。

腎臓が悪いので皮下点滴はしたい、でも心臓が悪いので点滴は危険がある…

ギリギリの決断で１日50mlの皮下点滴の指示。

ところが、帰ってきてからゴハンを食べない！ドライのふやかし、ウエット、生肉、ヤギミルクと並べてもヤギミルクしか飲まない。呼吸器も悪いマールに薬を強制で飲ませるのは怖すぎる（誤嚥されたら取り返しがつかない）

March 8

I had her discharged from the hospital since she gained a bit of weight and was eating.

Because her kidney were bad, I wanted to give her some IV fuluid, but it would be difficult because of her weak heart.... Doctor said “give her a 50ml IV per day” .

However, once I brought her home, she stopped eating! I gave her dampened dry food, wet food, meat, goat milk-and she took nothing but the goat milk. I'm so scared of trying to force medicine into her because of her weak breathing.

(If it goes down the wrong pipe, it won't come back up and she would have pneumonia!)

３月10日

再度受診。やっぱり体重が落ちてる。血液検査の結果、BUNは高いけどそれなりに安定してる。それよりも白血球とCRPが高い！どこかに炎症があるって事。

マールは心臓と呼吸器が悪く、口の中の状態が悪いのに麻酔のリスクが高くて口内処置ができませんでした。そのため歯の根っこが腐っている事からくる鼻炎があり⇨副鼻腔炎があり⇨気管虚脱があり⇨慢性の気管支炎があり⇨今回は肺炎を起こしているのではないかという事でまた入院となりました。（何にしても入院しての管理が必要なのでレントゲンの結果は明日電話でとなりました）

心臓に爆弾を抱えた状態で繁殖犬として出産を強いられていたマール。生きていてくれた事だけでも奇跡です。

March 10 

I brought her back in for an exam. As suspected, her weight had gone down again.

Her blood test show that her BUN levels were still high, but still stable. The problem was the high amount of white blood cells and CRP levels, and that she had some inflammation somewhere.

Her heart and her breathing are both weak, and the state of the inside of her mouth is also bad-despite this, anesthesia is too risky and couldn't treat her mouth. And because of this, the roots of her teeth are rotting which led to nasal inflammation, which led to sinusitis,  And she has tracheal collapse which led to chronic bronchitis, which led to pneumonia-what I believe the culprit is this time. I entered her into the hospital again.(In any case, she needs the care offered by hospital management, and I will receive the results of her X-rays tomorrow.)

She's at a point where even just transfusions-not to mention anesthesia-can't be trusted.

Despite this, Marl suffered as a puppy-mill breeding dog, forced to give birth.　

That she survived at all is a miracle.

たくさんの病気を抱えているマール

でもまだ「さよなら」は言えない

ゴハンを食べられるようになって戻っておいで

マーくんはママの「だいじだいじ」

マーくん、待ってるよ

You've suffered through so many sicknesses,

But it's too soon to say goodbye.
